For today, the Scientific-Production Center "Кropus" is an association with more than ten firms working in the field of development and manufacturing of nondestructive testing equipments. The basis of "Kropus" company, founded in 1989, was created from the majority of employees from the Federal Scientific-Production Center"Pribor".
More than 30 years of experience in the application of methods NDT and Technical Diagnostic, combined with modern electronics and opportunities in the fields of analysis and processing of radio signals, have allowed the creation of a wide scale of modern devices for ultrasonic, eddy current, and magnetic quality methods.
"Kropus" has it's on technological base located in Noginsk, in the Moscow area. "Kropus is also accredited by Gosstandart, the Russian metrological laboratory which allows "Kropus" to use their means of measurements. The creative potential allows us to realize any decision from a stage of development of the design documentation before serial output, whether it be portable devices NDT or industrial multichannel inspection systems under the technical project of the Customer.

UDT-40 – universal thickness gauge with A- and B- scan
Universal ultrasonic thickness gauge UDT-40 - it is intended for thickness testing of the various materials spending ultrasonic vibrations with frequency from 0,5 up to 15 MHz. Thus work both with dual, and single element transducers is possible. The presence of A and B-scan allows to avoid the typical erroneous results arising at work, traditional "blind" thickness gauge, and makes ultrasonic inspection accessible and reliable.
